The FEARBASE Consortium will bring together researchers from the field of fear conditioning. The consortium is currently in the planning phase and a first community-based discussion will take place at the European Meeting on Human Fear Conditioning (EMHFC) in Heeze, Netherlands in May 2024.
The FEARBASE Consortium has several goals:
Cumulate resources! To advance knowledge through mega-, meta- and multiverse analyses.
Facilitate replication! Facilitate replication studies.
Join forces! To create a network of researchers interested in pushing forward the field of fear conditioning research.
Boost exchange! To facilitate exchange of methods, data analysis strategies and code.
